Iron what? Back. Take Iron Man, the Back Street Boys, and, uh, why do I have to do this writing again?

Iron Back, from the English, literally "iron back." Evokes power, solidity, reliability. A strong reference is made to the silverback gorilla, which explains our logo, a symbol of strength, leadership, and protection of the group. We find these elements in our values, as if we had thought things through in a coherent way, it's crazy .

Who ?

Iron Back is two people: a passionate and incredibly efficient stylist (Amandine) and a founder (Axel by name), who after testing high-tech devices for 8 years in the smallest details to convey his most objective opinions possible on the web , specialized in e-commerce in agencies.

It is obvious that Axel's loved ones who experience Iron Back on a daily basis are, de facto , also part of the team.

For what ?

Because we see clothing , fashion accessories, as high-tech products. They have technical features, functionalities, and ergonomics. They must be efficient and durable. They must stand out from the competition in some way.

For us, creating a product without innovating, without bringing something, is absolutely useless and we are launching Iron Back for this reason: the world of fashion lacks meaning, usefulness and values.

Our values

At Iron Back, we believe that having clear values ​​is essential. For a company as well as for an individual. It's what defines us, what guides us, and what we want to convey to those around us.

Even before working on our first product, we asked ourselves the question: what do we really want to defend?

In a context where everything moves quickly, where we can order anything in two clicks, we have chosen to slow down a little to think about what we really want to bring. And for us, everything revolves around two pillars: performance and kindness .

Nothing is left to chance, everything we do starts from there.

Performance ?

At Ironback, we see fashion differently. Far from the ideals of the trend industry, we prioritize performance, comfort, and functionality , while designing clothes that enhance your appearance and that you'll enjoy wearing. In short, products that look good, last, fit well, and offer relevant ergonomic and practical features.

To achieve this, special care is taken in the upstream thinking, sourcing (materials, accessories, manufacturing) and testing during the prototyping phases. An Iron Back product is weeks of work by the team, notably composed of a fashion stylist, numerous exchanges with our production partners, essential back and forths until obtaining the perfect copy and tests to ensure that the product meets the requirements that represent the brand.

Kindness ?

But beyond the product itself, we believe in ethical production, useful commerce, and the existence of a company actively seeking to be kind.

Kindness is something we all have deep inside us and that we apply in different ways. Our vision of kindness as a brand making clothing is production in Europe and the desire to contribute at our level within society and especially to populations who need it.

Indeed, from its commercial launch, Iron Back will donate a percentage of its turnover to selected associations (the exact terms of the initiative are still being defined, if you have any recommendations on this subject we are interested !).
